Victoria Shpacovitch earned her PhD (Dr.rer.nat.) in Biology at the University of Münster, Germany. She continued a post-doctoral research in the fields of immunology and cell biology during her work in the laboratory of Cell Biology, Department of Dermatology, University Clinic of Münster. Currently, Dr. Shpacovitch is a research associate in the Bioresponsive Materials working group at the Leibniz Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften – ISAS - e.V., Dortmund, Germany. Her research interests include the development of biosensing platforms based on the principles of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for detection and characterization of biological nano-particles: viruses and extracellular vesicles.
